DPS holds workshop about traffic rules

JAMMU, May 6: Delhi Public School, Jammu in collaboration with Regional Transport Office, Jammu organized a workshop in the school premises to make aware the students about the traffic rules, today.
Arvind Kotwal, Regional Transport Officer, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion. Kuldeep Sharma, ARTO and Jugal Kishore, ARTO were the guest of honour. The programme began with the presentation of the bouquet to the guests.
A short film/documentaries on road safety rules was shown to the students where it was clearly depicted that those people who do not observe the road safety rules suffer due to accidents and get injured. The film comparing the traffic system observed by the general public of USA rules for one’s own safety.
Arvind Kotwal, chief guest made the students aware about the traffic rules. He advised the students not to drive the vehicles without getting the licenses issued in their favour by the ARTO office.
Ruchi Chabbra, Headmistress, Delhi Public School, Jammu presented a vote of thanks to the guests who spared their valuable time out of their busy schedule to attend the workshop for making the students aware about the road safety rules.
S S Sodhi, director, Delhi Public School, Jammu and Dr D Joseph, Additional director/ Principal of the school were also present.
