JAMMU, May 2: The students of DPS Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning 1st, 2nd, 3rd positions and consolation prizes in Inter-School On the Spot Poster Making Competition organized by 92.7 Big FM and Motor Vehicles Department, J&K on the occasion of 29th National Road Safety Week, here. Out of 1100 students from different schools of J&K, 59 students from DPS Jammu participated in the competition.
Dr VS Santhil Kumar, Chief Conservator of Forests, J&K was the chief guest on the occasion, who felicitated the students. The students who won prizes included Vrindalika Sharma (IV-D)-1st Prize, Parina Kandhari (IV-K)-2nd Prize, Pankhudi Gupta (IV-F)-3rd Prize, Arya Bhalla (IV-A) & Jenna Nuryn (III-H)-Consolation prizes (All Group-A); Rishita Mahajan (V-I)-1st Prize, Aashvi Nargotra (VI-K)-2nd Prize, Aneesh Sharma (VIII-F)-3rd Prize, Akshar Basson (V-G), Divyansh Manhas (VI-K), Ridoomrignayani (V-A) and Samraghi Pandoh (VIII-F)-Consolation Prizes (All Group-B).
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra and Headmistress, Meenu Gupta congratulated all the winners for this achievement.
