JAMMU, Aug 9: Kyra Thakyal (Prep-C), a child prodigy from Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the School and her parents by bagging gold and silver medals in U-15 kg weight group in sub-junior girls’ category in 1st Open National Taekwondo Championship-2023.
The Event was organized by Rohit Martial Arts Academy at New Delhi from 5-6 August. She had also received certificate of merit. It is also pertinent to mention that Kyra had also won gold medal in 3rd National Taekwondo Championship and silver medal in 2nd Indo-Nepal International Taekwondo Championship-2023.
Principal-DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated Kyra for her achievement and brilliant performance in the event. She also commended the dedication and efforts of Coach, Suresh Kumar for his unwavering support. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta too lauded Kyra.
