JAMMU, Aug 22: Delhi Public School Jammu honoured the Formula-2 Racer Rohit Koul in an impressive felicitation function at the School Campus, here today.
Ace Racer, Mr Koul, the first young International sportsperson from Northern India has been making waves at the National and International circuit.
It is pertinent to mention here that he started his career as a go-cater at the age of 11 and was under the twitilage of great Narain Kartikeyan. He has represented India in 2003 in the Formula Renault (2-0) BARC and will shortly be a representative in the USF-2000 in USA.
The students had an interactive session with the ace Racer, who motivated them by informing about his childhood, dreams, inspiration and his future plans on the occasion.
SS Sodhi, Founder Director of the School spoke high about the Racer and encouraged the students to stay focused.
Punish Kapoor, member DPS Society was the guest of honour, while Meenu Gupta, Headmistress up to Middle School presented welcome address.
