DPS Jammu organizes dance competition

JAMMU, Nov 27: Based on the theme ‘International Dances’ inter-section dance competition for the students of class V was organized at Delhi Public School, Jammu in the School premises, here today.
Around 160 students took part in the competition with enthusiasm and zeal.
Beautifully attired and with great vivacity students performed dances like Samba, Rumba, Ballet, Chinese Fan Dance, Butterfly Skating, South African Dance and Michael Jackson group dance.
It was a treat for eyes watching children performing various difficult steps, foot-tapping music easily which left the audience spell bound and craving for more.
The competition was adjudged by the experts Anil Baru and Shalini Pradhan.
The winning trophy was bagged by Class Vth-H, while class Vth-F and Vth-D clinched the Ist runners-up and 2nd runners- up trophy respectively.
Additional Director/ Principal, Dr D Joseph and Meenu Gupta Headmistress up to the Middle Wing of the School were present on the occasion.
