DPS Jammu organizes ‘Entrepreneurial Express’

JAMMU, Sept 26: To promote skill, entrepreneurship and leadership among students, in alignment with the vision of NEP-2020, Delhi Public School Jammu organized ‘Entrepreneurial Express’- an event inspired and designed on the pattern of the famous television series.
The aspiring student entrepreneurs pitched their business models in the similar fashion as the popular series to a panel of investors (Sharks) represented by Aakash Sharma(XII), Harihar Sharma (XII), DhruvKohli (XII)and persuaded them to invest Units (virtual currency) in their ideas.
Thirteen teams from Delhi Public School Jammu and two teams from Delhi Public School Katra, comprising two student innovators each, presented their thoroughly researched business ideas and product protypes, explaining the investors about their inspiration for their business model, key product features, marketing strategies, growth plan, gross sales, projected sales, net profit, cost of goods, profit margin, etc.
The highlight of the event was JARVIS- a voice modulated artificially intelligent video system designed and developed by Aakash Sharma (XII) who introduced the program, laid out the ground rules and even concluded the show by acknowledging the efforts of all team members.
Third position was bagged by two teams Parina Kandhari and Advay Sharma (IX) and Sidhant and Shorya (XI). Manaswin and Bhinndeep (X) along with Shalin (XII) and Prasan (XI) stood second, while the first position was bagged by Kriday Misri and Vaidik Tagger of class X who presented the idea of CHASE, a GPS tracker with multiple features. The title of the Best Shark/Investor was bagged by Aakash Sharma and Harihar Sharma.
