JAMMU, Nov 13: DPS Jammu organized an Inter-House Skit Competition for the students of class IIIrd in the School premises, here today.
A team of eight students from each of the five houses took part in the event.
The skits were based on the rich Hindu mythology.
The students portrayed the different characters with varied hues by not only showcasing the aura of ‘Gods’, ‘Demons’ but by also enchanting Shlokas, Mantras and Quotes from their life.
The competition was adjudged by the experts Anil Baru and Shalini Pradhan on the basis of originality, presentation, fluency, pronunciation and degree of appeal to the audience. The winner was Yamuna House, while Jhelum House emerged runners-up.
Meenu Gupta, Headmistress up to Middle School, DPS Jammu appreciated the beautiful amalgamation of grace, elegance and confidence of students.
Additional Director/ Principal, Dr D Joseph DPS, Jammu congratulated the winners and the teachers for the successful completion of the event.
