DPS Jammu students shine in National Level Essay Writing Competition

JAMMU, Apr 6: Saujanya Raj, a student of class VIII-A of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning 3rd prize of Rs 15,000 in 2nd National Essay Competition, under Jal Kranti Abhiyan organized by Central Water Board, NWHR, Jammu.
The Essay Competition was divided into three phases. After the first phase, candidates were shortlisted to appear in the second phase of on-the-spot round on the topic “When We Conserve Water, We Conserve Life”. Saujanya, having obtained first position in this round, got selected along with other 10 students from all over J&K to appear in the final National Level round.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra and Headmistress, Meenu Gupta applauded the student and felicitated her with appreciation certificate.
