KATHUA, Feb 3: Delhi Public School (Junior) Kathua was abuzz with poetic fervour as it hosted the Group Poem Recitation Competition showcased the talent of young minds from classes I to IV.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and creativity. Monika Singh, the School Incharge, welcomed the audience with a heartfelt speech, setting the stage for a day filled with poetic brilliance.
Dr Hardev Gupta and Dr Guru Sharma were chief guests on the occasion. Their presence added prestige to the event, inspiring the budding poets to reach new heights. Gauri Thakur, the guest of honour, brought her support and encouragement to the forefront, emphasizing the importance of nurturing artistic talents in young minds.
Following the enchanting recitations, a certification ceremony took place, where the winners were awarded certificates by the judges of the day Dr Hardev Gupta, Dr Guru Sharma and Gauri Thakur. The esteemed guests also shared their insightful views, further enriching the experience for all in attendance.
