KATHUA, Apr 30: Delhi Public School Kathua, as part of its commitment to the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative, organized a special activity aimed at introducing students to the numerical system of the paired state Gujarat. The activity, tailored for Class VI students, served to enhance cultural understanding and unity in diversity.
Led by Pooja Sharma, TGT Hindi, Ruchi Sharma, Primary Wing Coordinator and Vikram Singh Slathia, Coordinator of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program by CBSE, students were introduced to Gujarati and Dogri numerals in an engaging session. The initiative not only familiarized students with the numerical system of Gujarat but also highlighted the linguistic and cultural diversity across different regions of India.
Principal Vivek Arora, expressed appreciation for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of fostering unity in diversity within the school community and recognizing the significance of such activities in promoting cultural exchange.
