JAMMU, Oct 19: Delhi Public School (DPS) Kathua hosted a programme, marking the formal appointment of the newly elected student council. The event, held at the Main Campus in Rajbagh and the Feeder School in Kathua, celebrated leadership, responsibility, and the school’s commitment to nurturing future leaders.
Kanta Andotra, <former MLA and Founder Chairperson of DPS Kathua, was the chief guest. She highlighted the importance of leadership in shaping students’ personal and academic growth and urged the newly elected council to serve with dedication and humility. Charu Andotra, Principal of Mount Zee Litera and guest of honour, commended the students for their discipline and commitment.
Principal Vivek Arora congratulated the new council members and emphasized the values of empathy, fairness, and integrity in leadership. A highlight of the ceremony was the disciplined presence of the school’s NCC cadets, who played a key role in organizing the event.
The ceremony, meticulously planned by Senior Coordinator Tajinder Kour, was a proud moment for parents, staff and students alike, reflecting DPS Kathua’s commitment to fostering responsible and compassionate future leaders.
