KATRA, Nov 30: Delhi Public School, SMVDU, Katra celebrated “Annual Sports Day” in the school premises, here today Dr M K Bhandari, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sunil Kumar, Comandant, 6 Bn., CRPF and Dr D Jospeh, Addl. Director , DPS Kulbeer Singh, SP, Katra, Ashok Kumar, Director Sports, Shiv Kumar Sharma, President Wrestling Fedration and C L Malhotra Administrator DPS, Jammu were the guests of honour.
R K Verma, Principal DPS, SMVDU- Katra delivered the welcome address and also highlighted the achievements of the school in games and sports.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. M.K. Bhandari said that such kind of events shoud be organised at regular intervals for the fitness of the students.
Vote of thanks was presentrd by Vandna Sharma, Headmistress, DPS, Katra.
The function concluded with distribution of medals to the winners in various games.
