KATRA, Mar 21: Delhi Public School, SMVDU-Katra organized a programme ‘Pehla Kadam’ in Spiritual Growth Centre , Auditorium of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, here.
The students of Pre-primary and Primary wings of the school participated in the programme with enthusiasm and fervour. Students presented a galaxy of dances and song items, which enthralled the audience.
The programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Prasanna Ramaaswamy G., District Development Commissioner Reasi and Amit Bermani, Deputy CEO (SMVDU), SS Sodhi, Pro Vice Person, Delhi Public School Katra, besides Rakesh Wazir, Jitender Singh (Commandant CRPF), Dr SS Chib (DYSSO Reasi) and Vandna Sharma, Headmistress of the school.
The students danced to all time favourite and motivational songs for their future.
The function was also attended by the parents of Prep Class, staff along with prominent citizens of Katra.
In the end, SS Sodhi presented vote of thanks.
