LEH, Apr 11: Delhi Public School (DPS) Leh in collaboration with State Bank of India, Choglamsar Branch conducted prize distribution function for the students of pre-primary wing in the school premises, here today.
Branch Manager SBI Choglamsar, Rakesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, who later-on distributed prizes among the children.
Around 250 students took part in the colouring and painting competition.
Earlier, School Principal, Subhash Kumar presented welcome address, before presentation of traditional kathak dance by the students.
The students were excited and overwhelmed and used their little fingers to colour by using crayons and pencil colours.
In pre-nursery Sepals, Kaniz Fatima, Sheikh Musavir and Stanzin Dawa bagged first, second and third place respectively, while in pre-nursery Petals, first three positions went to Stanzin Yangchen, Tammana Iqbal and Stanzin Skaldan.
In pre-nursery Buds, Stanzin Odzang, Jigmet Nurbu and Nawang Stobgyes won first, second and third position, while in Nursery Rose, the first, second and third position was bagged by Abbas Ali, Stanzin Deachen and Bharghav Subhash Baldotra.
Soumiya Parvez, KC Angmo and Huzaifa Parvez of Nursery Lotus stood first, second and third respectively, while in Prep Diamond, Stanzin Mutup, Stanzin Dolma and Skarma Thinless claimed first three positions respectively.
In Prep Golden, Anjani Sehrawat, Ananya Mishra and Nema Kunzes won first, second and third position respectively.
The chief guest Rakesh Gupta alongwith school principal distributed prizes among the winners which were sponsored by State Bank of India.
Director DPS Leh, SS Sodhi lauded the efforts of the students in winning galaxy of prizes.
