DPS Leh organizes multi-language Calligraphy Competition

LEH, July 3: To explore the inherent talent of the students, Delhi Public School (DPS) Leh, organized a multi-language Calligraphy Competition in its School premises, here today.
The Competition was held in the languages of English, Hindi, Urdu and Bodhi for the classes from 1st to 10th.
250 students participated in the competition, in which they were categorized in three class-wise categories of 1st to 3rd, 4th to 6th and 7th to 10th. The students were excited and overwhelmed and wrote the texts with utmost care and perfection, under the supervision of Reena and Nikhat (English), Ritu and Seema (Hindi), Bashir (Urdu) and Tsering (Bodhi).
Khepal Gyatso, Gigmet Norzin, Mohd Reswan, Snigha Rana, Samrin Iqbal, Sonam Angmo and Tsering Angmo were adjudged best Calligraphists in English Language, while Himansh, Jaleel Ahmed and Tarika Sekhdar were adjudged best in Hindi, Ritika Sharma, Ankit Kumar and Mohd Tanvir Khan were declared best in Urdu and Stanzin Tsozung, Stanzin Chotso and Stanzin Tharpa were adjudged best in Bodhi language.
Later, Vice Chairman and Principal of the School distributed medals and certificates among the winners.
