DPS Nagbani organizes fancy dress competition

JAMMU, Aug 10: Delhi Public School (DPS), Nagbani organized a fancy dress competition on the theme “National Heroes’ of India”.
In the competition, students from classes I and II took part and showcased their talent by dressing up as various national heroes. They also spoke about the characters very well with slogans which they were depicting. Their efficiency and confidence could be seen through the zeal and passion with which they delivered their dialogues.
The boys and girls were dressed like Chander Shekhar Azad, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Jhansi Ki Rani, Mahatma Gandhi, etc.
It was an extremely memorable day as the children through their presentation aroused the feeling of patriotism among the students and staff present there.
Principal of the school spoke very high about the national heroes. “We should not forget the freedom movement in which our national heroes struggled and fought for our independence. It is due to their sacrifices that we are able to live in free India today. We should remember the national heroes and always pay rich tribute to them”, he added.
In the end, prizes and merit certificates were distributed to the winners by the school Principal.
