JAMMU, May 12: Delhi Public School Nagbani, Jammu-(West) organized a function in the School premises, here today, wherein SDM Marh Manu Hansa graced the occasion as chief guest.
The other members including Bhawna Madaan- Headmistress, Coordinators Sangeet Kour, Divya Bhogal, Preetika Gupta and Dr. Isha Sharma along with the entire staff and the students were present on the occasion.
The ceremony commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest along with other dignities.
Principal of the School Raj Kumar Verma presented a welcome address and expressed his gratitude towards the chief guest for sparing his valuable time to bless the students of DPS Nagbani.
It was followed by Ganesh Vandana and fusion dance by the students. Addressing the gathering and motivating the students, the chief guest said that Schools inculcate discipline and responsibilities amongst students to lead. Leaders must transmit punctuality and discipline to other students to make everyone successful.
He therefore urged all the students to do their best and help the administration in taking the School to greater heights. He also expressed confidence that students will do extremely well in their respective fields.
In the end, the Principal along with the Headmistress presented mementos to the chief guest as a token of gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the School management, staff and the students.
