DPS organizes Inter-School Quiz Competition

JAMMU, Oct 18: Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu organized Inter-School Quiz Competition for the students of Class 3rd in the School premises, here today.
The participants were divided into 10 teams, named after the famous rivers of India, each represented by 2 participants from each section of the class.
The questions were based on General Knowledge with special emphasis on Current Affairs, Environmental Sciences, Mathematical and Reasoning Ability, Music, Astronomy and English.
There were 5 rounds in all which included ‘Option’, ‘True/False’, ‘Bonus’, ‘Buzzer’ and Visual.
The Quiz was conducted by Quiz Master, Varuna Mangotra, teacher DPS Jammu.
The Competition was won by Ankit Gupta and Krishna Sharma from Kaveri team, while the runners-up prize was bagged by Parth Mahajan and Priyam Sharma from Narmada team.
Speaking on the occasion, School Principal, S Sonar stressed on the importance of team-work, composure, common-sense and patience while performing any activity.
