LEH, May 9: Delhi Public School (DPS) organized kick-the-ball competition for the tiny-tots of pre-primary block, in which about 280 students consisting of four sections of Nursery and three Sections of Prep participated.
The competition was organized in order to test and sharpen their reflexes and to check their physical strength besides their activeness.
The students were divided into two categories boys and girls. In the boys and girls category for Nursery classes Zaheer Khan and Tanishka Rawat of Nursery Rose, Tashi Gyatso and Disket Angmo of Nursery Lotus, Urgan Phunstag and Shabeena Hanif of Nursery Jasmine, Tsewang Gyatso and Stanzin Kunsal of Nursery Tulip clinched first positions each, whereas Stanzin Gyaldon and Tashi Lezes of Nursery Rose, Stanzin Thayas and Stanzin Dolma of Nursery Lotus, Nawang Phuntsog and Stanzin Dolker of Nursery Jasmine, Tsewang Phunthok and Stanzin Chosdon of Nursery Tulip got second positions each. Tonyot Wangbo and Tashi Dolker of Nursery Rose, Zahir Khan and Stanzin Lazes of Nursery Lotus, Piyush Kumar and Tsering Yangdol of Nursery Jasmine, Vatsal and Padma Seldon of Nursery Tulip clinched third positions each.
In the boys and girls category for Prep classes, Stanzin Dawa and Atiqa Nazir of Prep Golden, Athishan Sultan and Samina Kousar of Prep Diamond, Stanzin Stanskyoung and Stanzin Yangchan of Prep Silver clinched first positions each, St Stansyong and Stanzin Saldon of Prep Golden, Dilex Namgial and Tashi Dolker of Prep Diamond, Ridwan Shamim and Thinless Wangmo of Prep Silver clinched second positions each whereas Jigmet Takpa and Tsering Angmo of Prep Golden, Thinley Gyalston and Rigzen Yangdol of Prep Diamond, Phunchok Tashi and Stanzin Lhayoum of Prep Silver bagged third positions each.
Principal of the school Subhash Kumar Baldotra presented medals to the winner students in the special-assembly. He asked the students to participate in all Sports activities.
