JAMMU, June 5: Abhirath Thappa, a student of Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu has brought laurels to school by wining Boys Doubles title in District Lawn Tennis Championship.
The championship was organized by J&K Lawn Tennis Association at M.A Stadium, here from June 2 to 4.
Abhirath is the student of class 9th who won boys doubles title in U-18 age category while Saksham Amla student of class 8th was declared the runner-up in the same event.
The students were felicitated with trophies by chief guests, Suraj Bhan Singh and Captain, Murti Gupta, president-JKLTA.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra and Headmistress, Meenu Gupta appreciated the efforts of both the students for their brilliant performances and teacher incharge, Amar Jyoti Sharma.
