DPS students excel in Swimming Competition

JAMMU, Oct 16: The students of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning 11 medals (5 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze) in the Inter School Swimming Competition in Under-14 and Under-17 age categories.
The competition was held at KC International Public School, Jammu. Besides winning 11 medals, DPS swimmers also bagged runners up Rolling Trophy.
All the winners were felicitated by the principal of the school, Dr D Joseph in a special assembly organized in the school campus.
The medal winners are Siya Singh (gold in 25 m Free Style), Sanand Sharma (1 gold each in 50 m Breast Stroke and 100 m Free Stroke), Sidhant Sharma (1 gold each in 800 m and 50 m Free Stroke), Priyanka (1 bronze in Back Stroke and 50 m Free Stroke), Relay (silver in Free Style), Medley (silver) and Shiv Chadha (1 bronze each in 50 m back and 200 m Free Stroke).
