DPS students shine in 42nd Letter Writing Competition

JAMMU, Nov 7: Students of Delhi Public School, Jammu bagged positions in the 42nd Letter Writing Competition organized by the Postal Department, on the occasion of National Postal Week.
The students wrote letters addressed to their grandparents on different topics of their choice.
Swescha Rambal of class IX bagged the first prize in senior category whereas Aashiya Iqbal of Class VIII and Aru Bhola of class IX bagged the second and third prizes respectively.
In the Junior Category, the students of Class “V” defeated the others. Tejas Singh won the first prize, whereas second prize was taken by Ridhima Anand and the third prize went to Stavya Khajuria.
All the students were awarded cash prize by the Department of Postal Services, India. Certificates of appreciation were given to the students.
Ruchi Chabra, Principal DPS Jammu, appreciated the students by handing over the prizes during morning assembly in school.
