DPS students win 1st prize in Inter-School Debate competition

JAMMU, Aug 7: The students of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the School by bagging the 1st prize in Inter-School Debate competition held at BSF School, Ploura on the eve of  BSF Golden Jubilee celebration 2015.
The topic of the debate was ‘Border Disputes Thwarting the Friendly Relations with Neighboring Countries.’
The winning team comprised of Mahavir Singh of class X-D and Niharika  Sharma of class XI-F. While Mahavir Singh won the Best Speaker award and the first prize, both the participants lifted the overall best team trophy for the School, defeating 16 other teams from Jammu. The team was guided by their English teacher, Neha Malhotra.
Ruchi Chabra, Principal, DPS Jammu lauded the performance of the students.
