UDHAMPUR, Mar 10: Delhi Public School, Udhampur declared the result of the Debate Competition, organized by District Police Headquarters Udhampur on the topic “Drug Awareness” under the Civic Action Program for the year 2015-16.
Shahid Rashid of class XII Medical Stream of DPS Udhampur bagged first position in the Debate Competition organized at “Shivalik College” of Education today. Various other schools of Udhampur also participated in the event but Student of DPS Udhampur outshined all of them.
The main aim behind this event was to make students aware about the evil of Drug abuse in our society. No doubt the other students did a wonderful job but the expressing power of Shahid Rashid left an impacting effect on the mind of the judges.
The Chairman of the School, Dr JC Gupta (LMC), Principal Yogeshwari Rathore and Vice Principal, Sucheta Gupta congratulated the winner for his excellent performance and wished that more such competitions should be organized in order to make the youth aware about such social problems.
