UDHAMPUR, Mar 10: Entering 10th year of its existence and coming up with the new things for the students, Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur has launched a Scholarship program namely ‘Arpan’, here today.
While addressing the media persons, the School Management said that Programme will be held on March 19 & 26, 2018 for the students seeking admission in classes from 1st to 9th.
They said, the scholarship program will be open to all the students of Udhampur.
“As per the program the students after qualifying the scholarship test, may avail 100 percent scholarship on the admission fee,” the organisers added.
The members also made an important announcement that the School will be launching DPS Juniors Pre Primary Wing of the institution, which will be based on IB curriculum.
The management said that the School has also revamped the Pre-Primary wing, now it will be the hub of activities with specially designed digital classrooms for the kids, adding the idea behind revamping the pre-primary wing was to train students and develop confidence in them and to enhance their cognitive, problem solving, motor and muscular skills.
“The children will be trained for communication skills and personality development in these basic years of their schooling,” management added.
The members further said the students from classes VI to VIII will have reading, writing and communication skill as a part of curriculum and the school, adding the school will also prepare children for facing board exams right from their primary classes.
School also unfurled its newsletter for academic session 2017-18 on the occasion. This newsletter intends to provide essential information to parents and can also foster a connection between the classroom and the home.
