Udhampur, May 31: Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur organized three days Debating Fest ‘Unison-2019’: An Argument and Advice, here.
The programme was divided into four categories of Conventional Debate, Bilingual Turncoat, Panel Discussion, Photo/Video Journalism.
Former MLA Udhampur, Pawan Gupta, was the chief guest on the occasion, while Pro-Vice Chairman DPS, Udhampur, Dr JC Gupta was the guest of honour. Vivek Gupta, Managing Director DPS Udhampur and Sucheta Gupta, Academic Director were the special invitees.
The students presented their views flawlessly and received appreciation from the chief guest and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Gupta said that whenever he visited the school he saw immense talent among the students.
The Pro-Vice Chairman of the school, Dr JC Gupta appreciated the kids for their commendable job.
He further said that knowledge and communication skills are the most important ingredients which one needs to enhance to survive in the present competitive world.
The students also presented a cultural programme which enthralled the entire audience.
The winners were awarded with medals and appreciation certificates for showcasing their outstanding performance.
Principal Dr Kunal Anand congratulated the winners and appreciated the endeavours of the staff for their guidance.
He lauded the efforts of Bhanvi Sharma, Senior Coordinator and Rakhi Gupta for organizing the event smoothly and successfully.
