UDHAMPUR, July 19: Bringing laurels to school, Delhi Public School Udhampur students shined at Karate – Do Championship held at Bhagwati Nagar Stadium, Jammu.
The Karate championship was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council. In this one-day tournament, about 1000 students (boys and girls) participated from various districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Delhi Public School, Udhampur students nailed the event by winning 20 gold and 13 silver medals. The students were trained by Coach, Uday Singh.
Managing Director Vivek Gupta and Director Academics, Sucheta Gupta, Principal Dr. Kunal Anand along with Head Mistress Banvi Sharma and Shivanie Koul appreciated the performance of students and acknowledged the role of coach.
The gold medalist students are Aarav Mahajan (Class 5th), Tejal Mahajan (Class 8th), Tanav Sadotra (Class 9th), Arnab Singh (Class 9th), Adarsh Singh( Class 7th), Shourya Partap Singh(Class 7th), Suhana Manzoor(Class 12th), Vedant Gupta (Class 7th), Rakshat Gupta(Class 7th), Krishnav Saraswat(Class 5th), Aman Sharma (Class 9th), Swamin Gupta (Class 9th), Arnab Parasher (Class 9th), Madhavan Sharma(Class 7th) and Aakarshit Mahajan (Class 8th).
The silver medalists are Dhruva Singh (Class 11th) Mangothiya (Class 11th), Atish Verma (Class 11th), Devansh (Class 7th), Veer Singh (Class 7th), Khavish Singh (Class 5th), Sakshar Sharma(Class 7th), Manad Mahajan (Class 4th) and Priyal Mahajan (Class 2nd).
