Dr Karan Singh inaugurates DPS Nagbani, advises staff to impart quality education

JAMMU, June 20: Member Parliament (MP) Rajya Sabha and Sole Trustee of Rajput Charitable Trust, J&K, Raj Kumar Ranvijay Singh Trustee, Maharaja Hari Singh Social and Education Foundation Jammu Dr Karan Singh formally inaugurated Delhi Public School (DPS), Nagbani and took a round of the school campus which is situated at Maharani Bagh, Rakh Nagbani.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singh said that the hard work and efforts put by MK Ajatshatru Singh, president Rajput Charitable Trust, J&K and Chairman-cum-Trustee, Maharaja Hari Singh Social and Education Foundation Jammu, Ritu Singh, Pro Vice Chairperson, SS Sodhi, Director of the school and team of DPS, Jammu will go a long way to realize the dream of Yasho Rajyalakshmi.
He stated that it was a dream of Yasho Rajyalakshmi to impart quality education (as a part of her social work) not only in urban areas but also in rural areas for their betterment and welfare, which has been fulfilled now by his son, daughter-in-law and grandson Ranvijay Singh.
He advised all the staff members to maintain international standards of education as set up by Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi and CBSE, New Delhi and impart quality education through latest and modern technology. He also inspired the staff members to participate in nation building process by strengthening the four pillars of education–Learning to know, Learning to do, Learning to live together and Learning to be.
Dr Singh also stated that the idea of establishment of green school at Nagbani was that of Adhishree, his granddaughter.
In the end, RK Verma, Principal DPS, Katra who is holding Additional Charge of DPS, Nagbani, presented vote of thanks.
