JAMMU, Sept 19: Dr Mohammad Shabaz, an Assistant Professor at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Jammu, has been featured in Stanford University and Elsevier’s 2024 list of the top 2% scientists globally for the second consecutive year. A native of Poonch, Dr. Shabaz completed his B.Tech from Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University and his PhD from Chandigarh University. He has a keen interest in the application of computer science in interdisciplinary domains, with over 200 research papers published in indexed journals, alongside 15 Indian and 3 Australian patents. Dr. Shabaz joins over 20 senior researchers from J&K institutes, including IIT Jammu and University of Kashmir, in receiving this prestigious recognition.
