JAMMU, Apr 20: Dr Mohit Arora, Additional Director of Joint Replacement Surgery Department at Fortis Escorts Hospital, launched revolutionary smart technique in knee replacement surgery.
Dr Arora is the pioneer in the field of Joint Replacement surgery and has done almost 8000 surgeries in last 12 years. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Arora elaborated that he has registered this smart technique under his name and done almost 100 successful operations till date.
“The word ‘smart’ symbolizes the process of surgery as for the first time ever the knee operation is stitch less with a minimal cosmetic scar. He further defined that he uses high performance latest instrumentation to conduct this surgery, hence there is no muscle cutting and internal bleeding and no blood transfusion is needed. “The smart technique enables the patient walks within a day due to faster recovery process. This surgery is beneficial for patients with high weight,” he added.
