JAMMU, Apr 25: Prof (Dr) N K Resutra, Principal, G G M Science College, Jammu was conferred with the prestigious Indo-UN Pin by Gandhi Global Family J&K Chapter in a simple but impressive function, here today.
He is the first person in the country to get this coveted Pin. It may be mentioned here that 100 Indo-UN Pins have been created by the United Nations to be conferred upon those personalities who have contributed to the society in General and the spread of Gandhian Philosophy in particular allover the World.
The award was presented to Mr Resutra by Padma Shri S P Verma, president of J&K Gandhi Global Family in presence of K K Gandhotra, general secretary GGF, Executive Member of GGF, Dr Taran Singh, Wing Commander Mr Joshi and Abdul Majid Bichoo and others. A large number of faculty members alongwith other members of Gandhian Global Family attended the function.
