JAMMU, July 12: In recognition to her contributions in the field of Psychology at an early career stage, Dr Richa Gupta, PhD Scholar of University of Jammu, has been selected for the prestigious APA Achievement Award by American Psychological Association (APA), USA.
The Award will be presented to her at San Francisco, California during APA Annual Convention on August 10, 2018.
She has completed her PhD under the supervision of Prof Arti Bakhshi, Head, Department of Psychology, JU in 2017. Dr Richa has the distinction of receiving one Young Scientist Award and three Best Paper Awards at the National and International Conferences during 2015-2018.
Prof RD Sharma, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu lauded the efforts of Dr Richa for being the first Indian resident who has been selected for such prestigious award by APA.
She has also the honour of securing first position in MA Psychology (2010) from the University of Jammu.
