JAMMU, Jan 12: Dr Sonia Jasrotia, D/o Atma Singh Jasrotia, Department of Buddhist Studies, University of Jammu has been invited for the Seventh World Archaeological Congress to be held at Jordan in Amman from January 13 to January 20, 2013.
She will be presenting papers on the topic, “Locating Buddhist Monuments of Kashmir: Recently Discovered Monuments of Gateway of Kashmir Valley”.
Dr Sonia is the first scholar from Jammu and Kashmir who is representing the State in prestigious 7th World Archaeological Congress. She attributed her success to support and cooperation of University authorities.
