JAMMU, Apr 9: Dr K K Sood, Ex HoD, Division of Forestry from SKUAST-Jammu, has been nominated for the coveted position as Member of Visitor’s nominee of the Court of Assam Central University, Silcher by the President of India for three years with immediate effect.
Dr Sood is well known academician and Scientist in the field of Forestry. He was awarded with prestigious Commonwealth Fellowship for his doctoral research at University of Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom and was also Gold Medalist during B Sc and M Sc in Forestry from Dr Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan (HP). He has wide exposure of working in Eastern and Western Himalayas. He has also served/serving as member Editorial Board of many national and international journals. He has edited two books.
