KISHTWAR, Mar 31: Police arrested a driver along with illicit liquor pouches from Kuleed Chowk, falling under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar police station.
As per police sources, during checking at Kuleed Chowk, a team from Kishtwar police station intercepted a van bearing registration number JK17-4845.
During checking, police recovered 57 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Suresh Kumar, son of Munshi Ram, a resident of Dharbadhan Thakrai, District Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 52/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Kishtwar and investigation started.
