KATHUA, July 19: A driver was killed in accident near Lakhanpur.
As per police sources, a car bearing registration number JK08G-8688 was on its way to Dhar Mahanpur from Kathua when the driver lost control over it and it met with accident on Lakhanpur-Basantpur road near Kendriya Vidyalaya.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the profusely bleeding driver to GMC Kathua, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Singh, son of Jarnail Singh, a resident of Chak Pratap Singh, Hatli, District Kathua.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Lakhanpur Police Station and investigation started.
