JAMMU, Dec 22: DRS-Edify Public School Trikuta Nagar celebrated its 9thannual day in Zorawar Singh Auditorium here today.
Minister for Transport, Abdul Ghani Kohli was the chief guest on the occasion while Member Legislative Council Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Director Urban Development and Local Bodies, Soujanya Sharma and general secretary BJP, Dr. Narinder Singh were the guests of honour.
The theme of the function was “Zindagi – the Truth”. Kids of the school presented a colorful cultural programme on the occasion which was highly appreciated by the audience.
Appreciating the performance of the students Mr Kohli congratulated the staff for their hard work in preparing the children to put up a scintillating programme. He said such events provide a conducive platform to nurture the talent of the kids and stressed on motivating the students to participate in extra-curricular activities for developing their personality.
The Minister expressed hope that the management will strive hard to provide quality education to the students and help them excel in every field.
