UDHAMPUR, July 28:
Police today arrested a narcotic smuggler from Tikri and recovered 10 grams of contraband substance heroin from his possession.
The accused was identified as Kulbir Singh, son of Shankar Singh of Ritti, presently putting up near Bus Stand, Udhampur.
He was arrested by a Police patrolling party of PP Tikri, led by Inspector Jaswinder Singh, Incharge PP Tikri, when he was roaming near Kali Mata Mandir, Tikri.
In this connection, a case FIR number 198/2021, under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Rehambal and further investigation is underway.
