JAMMU, Oct 18: SMGS Hospital Police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a drug peddler along with 10 grams of heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from SMGS Hospital Police Post apprehended a drug peddler and recovered 10 grams of heroin from his possession near Indira Chowk.
The accused has been identified as Vikrant Gupta, son of Ajay Gupta, a resident of District Kathua.
A case under FIR Number 62/18 under Section 8/21 NDPS act has been registered at Police Station City Jammu and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge SMGS Hospital Police Post SI Manoj Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SHO City Inspector Vishal Sharma, SDPO City Varun Jandial, SP City Amritpal Singh and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
