JAMMU, Feb 27: Panjtirthi Police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a drug peddler and recovered 80 intoxicant injections from his possession.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Panjtirthi Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a scooty bearing registration number JK02BL-5403.
During checking, police recovered 80 intoxicant injections from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Surinder Singh, son of Pritam Singh, a resident of Subhash Nagar Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 30/18 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Panjtirthi SI Ajay Kumar Engotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga SI Dheeraj Nagpal, SDPO City Varun Jandial, SP City Dr Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
