LEH, May 6: Leh Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Leh laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 640 grams of cannabis from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Vivek Kumar, a resident of Champaran, Bihar.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered against the arrested person at Police Station Leh and investigation started.
