JAMMU, Aug 5: Bahu Fort Police arrested a drug peddler along with 9 grams of heroin.
As per police sources, based on specific inputs, a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania laid a naka near Bahu Plaza and apprehended a drug peddler along with 9 grams of heroin.
The arrested person was identified as Saleem Ahmed, son of Abdul Majeed of Raika, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 278/21 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO City East Bikram Kumar.
