RAJOURI, Sept 5: The police today arrested a drug-peddler along with a consignment of heroin worth thousands of rupees on the out skirts of Rajouri town today.
Official sources said that a team of SOG and Police Station Rajouri during naka at Tarpai bridge, Saim Samit on Rajouri – Thanamandi road, noticed a man moving, who suddenly changed his direction after seeing police.
This created suspicion among the cops who chased and detained the man. During search of the suspect, 15 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
He was identified as Dushant Singh, son of Shanker Singh, resident of Sainik Colony, Jammu. A case FIR No. 500/2018 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
