POONCH, Apr 3: The police today nabbed a drug-peddler and recovered nearly 500 gm poppy straw ( Bukki) from his possession.
Official sources said that Police party from Poonch Thana, during naka at Kanuyian bridge on highway today intercepted a youth and during his frisking, recovered 500 gm of poppy straw from his possession.
The accused was identified as Trilok Singh, son of Sohan Singh, resident of Poonch city. He was formally arrested and a case FIR was registered against him. The police was further investigating.
