KATRA, Oct 3: Police today arrested a drug peddler and seized 2.8 kg poppy straw from his possession.
The accused, identified as Gulam Qadir of Chapper Dhansal, in Jammu district, was intercepted by a police party, headed by SHO Katra Inspector Kuldeep Krishan at Serli Naka. Gulam Qadir is a driver by profession and carries tourists to Shivkhori, Patnitop etc from Katra in his winger JK02AG 6823.
The vehicle was also seized by the Police.
In this case, an FIR under Section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at Katra Police Station.
