JAMMU, Sept 27: Satwari police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered 2.4 kg of Ganja from his possession.
During a special naka laid by a team of police station Satwari led by SHO Deepak Jasrotia under the supervision of SDPO South PK Mengi, a suspect namely Biru Chandra son of Saheb Chandra of Nawagaon (Chattisgarh) was rounded up and during search of his personal belongings, 2.4 kg of Ganja was recovered from his illegal possession.
In this connection, a case FIR Number 225/21 under section 8/20 of NDPS Act was registered at police station Satwari and the accused was arrested while further investigation of the case was going on. The overall arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SP City South Deepak Digra.
