POONCH, Oct 25: Continuing its drive against drug abuse, the police nabbed a drug peddler in Poonch and recovered some quantity of heroin from his possession.
Official sources said that a police party from Police Station Poonch headed by ASI Amir Singh on the basis of specific inputs intercepted one Rahid Hussain Shah, son of Ghulam Mohd Shah, resident Qazi Mohra, Poonch near GREF Camp and during his personal search recovered 04 gms of heroin (Chitta) from his possession, near GREF camp.
He was arrested and a case FIR No. 220/2022 U/S 8/21/NDPS Act registered against him.
