JAMMU, Nov 10: Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ), Anuradha Gupta flagged off trekking for boys and girls of Zone Satwari from Government Middle School Satwari, here today.
About 100 students participated in this camp under the supervision of District Youth Service & Sports Officer, Sukhdev Raj Sharma and overall supervision of DG YSS, Saleem-ur-Rehman.
The trekkers will visit Akhnoor and its adjoining areas during the five days trekking camp.
The chief guest interacted with the young enthusiastic trekkers and advised them to enjoy their trekking expedition. She advised the students while trekking try to keep the environment neat and clean by not throwing polythene and other things which pollute the environment.
ZEPO Satvinder Kour and concerned officials of all the zones were escorted with the participant. Food, refreshment and boarding and lodging will be borne by the DYSSO Jammu.
They were advised by the DSEJ to obey all the guidelines regarding COVID-19 pandemic during the trekking.
