JAMMU, Jan 15: A deputation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee led by Roshan Lal Raina its president met JMC Commissioner and apprised him of the problems of the locality.
The delegation highlighted the problems faced by the people in the area due to bad conditions of lanes and drains.
The Commissioner JMC assured the delegation that steps will be taken to redress the problems of the people immediately.
The Committee complimented the JMC Commissioner for approving the tile work of four lanes and it also complimented the PHE Chief Engineer for laying the pipe line in Kalashpati Mandir lane to solve the drinking water problem of the people. The meeting also appealed the Chief Engineer PHE for ensuring the regular water supply in the area.
Other members of delegation were Behari Lal, C L Zuthsi and Nana Ji.
