Durga Nagar residents discuss problems

JAMMU, Sept 27: Durga Nagar Sector-1, Sector-2 and Sector-3 residents held joint meeting under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina and Sanjay Ganjoo today in which members from all sectors and surrounding areas were also present.
Meeting discussed the burning issues of migrants like enhancement of relief, unemployment among community youth and problems being faced by overaged unemployed youth of the community.
The meeting said that Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, K.K.Sidha has taken keen interest in arranging the revision camps of electoral rolls in camp and non camp areas and it will solve the problems of the people in getting enrolled as voters.
This type of initiative taken by RCM is fruitful because on spot the inclusion, deletion, correction and link of Aadhar cards has also become possible, the meeting said.
The meeting appealed the Home Minister, Amit Shah to enhance the relief of migrants and expressed the hope that during his visit on October 4 to J&K he will make announcement in this regard as the migrants totally dependent on this meager cash assistance are hopeful that all other problems will also be looked into.
